Solid in loss
MBrisbane Lions
July 11, 2021
Neale scored one behind to go with 31 disposals (13 kicks, 18 handballs) and made seven tackles during Saturday's 95-63 loss to St Kilda in Round 17.
ANALYSIS
Neale has scored over 100 fantasy points in three straight starts and seems to have found his stride after an inconsistent first few months to his season. While injury may have played a role in those struggles, he's now shown that his fantasy value should remain steady even if the Lions struggle to win games, which isn't likely to happen all the time.

Neale suffered a calf injury that held him out for Round 16 against Adelaide but will return if he passes his fitness tests ahead of Round 17 against St Kilda.
ANALYSIS
Neale has struggled to stay fit this season but won't be out much longer with his most recent issue. In the two weeks before he missed Round 16, Neale logged 54 disposals and made 16 tackles.

Shoulder
June 24, 2021
Neale garnered 24 disposals, seven marks, six tackles, two clearances and a single goal assist Thursday as Brisbane bested Geelong 94-50 at Gabba.
ANALYSIS
Neale left Thursday's match midway through the first period with what appeared to be a dislocated shoulder, but returned a few minutes later to finish out Brisbane's victory having tied or set season-highs for marks and inside (7) / rebound 50s (6). No clear word yet on the nature of the shoulder injury or if it might sideline Neale for any significant period of time; however, Fox Footy's Tom Morris speculated on Twitter that the ailment could be a "potential subluxation" that may require surgery at the end of the season.
30 disposals, 10 clearances v. Roos
MBrisbane Lions
June 19, 2021
Neale manufactured 30 disposals, 10 tackles, 10 clearances and a mark and goal each Saturday as Brisbane defeated North Melbourne 68-45 at Blundstone Arena.
ANALYSIS
Neale closed out Saturday's contest the match leader for clearances and trailing only teammate Jarryd Lyons's game-high 12 tackles. He also finished one of only three Lions having recorded 30 or more disposals versus North Melbourne, and, as such, netted both his best fantasy point total since May 17 and second-highest of the season.
