Knee - ACL
August 8, 2021
Bruce (knee) will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL.

Torn ACL feared
FWestern Bulldogs
Knee - ACL
August 8, 2021
Bruce suffered a suspected torn ACL during Sunday's 97-84 loss to Essendon, according to his club.
ANALYSIS
Bruce kicked three goals in this game but also picked up a potentially serious injury. If this news comes to pass on scans, Bruce would also likely miss a major portion of 2022.
Five majors v. Carlton
FWestern Bulldogs
May 9, 2021
Bruce produced 15 disposals, 11 marks, five goals, three tackles and two behinds Sunday as Western outpaced Carlton 107-91 at Marvel Stadium.
ANALYSIS
Bruce not only matched Carlton's Eddie Betts goal-for-goal to log a game-high for majors on Sunday, but too set season-bests for marks, tackles and hitouts (5) in the victory. That netted the 28 year-old his best fantasy performance since an April 2 win over North Melbourne, but nevertheless finds the midfielder averaging a moderate 77.2 fantasy points a game to date.
Plays best against 'Roos
FWestern Bulldogs
April 2, 2021
Bruce scored 10 goals and two behinds to go with 21 disposals (15 kicks, six handballs) in addition to making 10 marks during Friday's 167-39 win over North Melbourne.
ANALYSIS
Bruce made a name for himself last season with some dominant performances against the 'Roos and he's done it again in this hugely impressive effort. Expecting him to do this regularly may be optimistic, but Bruce has already scored as many majors through three rounds in 2021 as he did in all of 2020. As long as he keeps up his marking numbers, Bruce should be a forward with consistent value and a high fantasy ceiling.
Steers Bulldogs to victory
FWestern Bulldogs
July 5, 2020
Bruce ended with 10 disposals (seven kicks, three handballs), six marks and six goals in Saturday's 87-38 victory over the Kangaroos.
ANALYSIS
Bruce was in career-best form Saturday, kicking six straight majors as the Bulldogs dominated the hapless Kangaroos. The former Saint matched his career-high in arguably the best forward performance of the season. The Bulldogs have now won three consecutive games and after a slow start to the season, look to be a serious contender for the flag.
