RNorth Melbourne Kangaroos
July 13, 2021
Goldstein logged 12 disposals (eight kicks, four handballs), made six marks and completed 31 hitouts during Monday's 70-60 win over West Coast.
ANALYSIS
Goldstein smashed the all-time AFL/VFL hitouts record with his third game of over 30 hitouts in a row. After a slower start to the season, Goldstein and many of the 'Roos stars are becoming proper fantasy assets.

53 hitouts v. Brisbane
RNorth Melbourne Kangaroos
June 19, 2021
Goldstein recorded eight disposals, two tackles and a single mark and clearance to go along with 53 hitouts Saturday as North Melbourne fell to Brisbane 68-45 at Blundstone Areana.
ANALYSIS
Goldstein dropped below double-digit disposals for the first time this year and matched a season-low for marks in Saturday's contest, but more than made up for a lack of production in those respective areas after registering a game-high 53 hitouts. The AFL's No. 7 for total hitouts (350) to date now sports a per game fantasy score average of 81.1 through 13 appearances, 11th-best among all league rucks.
Steps up in win
RNorth Melbourne Kangaroos
May 15, 2021
Goldstein scored one goal to go with 19 disposals (nine kick, 10 handballs) while also recording six marks and 28 hitouts during Saturday's 87-80 win over Hawthorn.
ANALYSIS
Goldstein had generally struggled to win his battles this season but finally came out on top during his club's 32-point comeback win. There may be no other player more crucial to the successes of the 'Roos than Goldstein, so it's worth checking to see if he can make 100-point games the norm instead of the exception.
Controlled in loss
RNorth Melbourne Kangaroos
August 30, 2020
Goldstein made 21 hitouts and completed five clearances while also logging 14 disposals (four kicks, 10 handballs) during Sunday's 91-28 loss to Gold Coast Suns.
ANALYSIS
Goldstein has been one of the best players in the league all season, but but even he can't do it all without more help. He was kept to another average performance by counterpart Jarrod Witts, who ended up winning their battles by a slim margin. As the season winds down, keep an eye on the ruck matchups before selecting Goldstein.
Improved effort in loss Sunday
RNorth Melbourne Kangaroos
August 10, 2020
Goldstein had 17 disposals (three kicks, 14 handballs) and two tackles in Sunday's 92-35 loss to Melbourne.
ANALYSIS
Goldstein ramped up his production Sunday as the Kangaroos remained competitive for a large portion of the game. The Demons booted six unanswered goals during the final term, which certainly took away from the positive for the Kangaroos. Goldstein is typically one of the more consistent assets on a weekly basis and should continue to receive plenty of opportunities moving forward.
Struggles in loss
RNorth Melbourne Kangaroos
August 5, 2020
Goldstein collected 15 disposals (eight kicks, seven handballs) and made 17 hitouts during Wednesday's 90-57 loss to Geelong.
ANALYSIS
Goldstein has been one of the few bright spots for the Kangaroos all season but even he couldn't perform to his standards with his team losing nearly every mark. Over his past two matches, Goldstein hasn't topped 20 hitouts. If this trend continues, it could pose worries for Goldstein's value. However, he'll still have plenty of chances to maintain his high production.
