Logs career-high 115 fantasy points
FSydney Swans
August 14, 2021
Hayward netted 17 disposals, 11 marks and three goals, behinds and tackles each Saturday as Sydney knocked off North Melbourne 91-77 at Marvel Stadium.
ANALYSIS
The 22 year-old not only set personal-highs for kicks (14), marks and goals in Saturday's contest, but too amassed a best-ever 115 fantasy points. The Swans forward heads into a Aug. 21 match-up with Gold Coast looking to build upon his Round 22 performance , but faced with the reality that he is currently averaging just 10.8 disposals, 4.1 marks, 3.4 tackles and 1.6 majors an appearance on the year.

11 disposals, two majors in win
FSydney Swans
July 11, 2021
Hayward combined for 11 disposals, three marks, two goals and tackles each and a single goal assist Sunday as Sydney defeated Western 79-60 at Marvel Stadium.
ANALYSIS
Hayward paired with Jordan Dawson to account for five of Sydney's 11 goals kicked against Western on Saturday, and, in doing so, extended a streak of games with multiple majors to three. He also topped double-digit disposals for the first time since May 30 and matched a season-high for clangers (5). The above ultimately saw the 22 year-old eclipsing 50 fantasy points for the first time in four showings; still, with an season average of 58.1 points a game, Hayward remains little more than an afterthought for selection at forward heading into a Round 18 match-up with GWS.

Concussion
June 22, 2021
Hayward (concussion) is expected to return in Round 15 against Port Adelaide.
ANALYSIS
Hayward used the bye to get through concussion protocols and may not even miss a game. He's scored seven goals in his last four matches heading into the Port game.
Gets concussed in loss

Concussion
June 11, 2021
Hayward suffered a concussion during Friday's Round 13 loss to Hawthorn, according to the AFL.com match report.
ANALYSIS
Hayward was knocked out early into the contest after scoring five goals over the previous two games. One can only hope that this concussion doesn't derail his form, as he'd at least become a mid-value forward instead of not worth much at all in fantasy. Under league protocol, Hayward will be out for at least 12 days but the bye means he may not miss a single game.
Game-high three goals v. Saints
FSydney Swans
June 5, 2021
Hayward combined for nine disposals, three goals, three tackles and a pair of behinds Saturday as Sydney edged out St. Kilda 92-83 at SCG.
ANALYSIS
Hayward dipped below double-digit disposals for just the third time this year on Saturday, but finished the contest with a game-leading and season-high tying three goals. The 22-year now has 12 total goals to his name in 2021, fourth-highest among all Swans. Still, that the 22 year-old has only topped 80 fantasy points once during Sydney's current campaign highlights the fact that he offers little value to owners as the league's 119th most-productive option at forward.
Pair of goals in loss
FSydney Swans
May 9, 2021
Hayward recorded two goals and added 15 disposals (eight kicks, seven handballs), four marks and four tackles in Sydney's loss to Melbourne on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
The midfielder now has six goals over his first four matches of the season. Hayward also is just one disposal short of having achieved double digits in that category in all four of those matches, although he continues to be an almost completely absentee source of clearances with just one thus far in 2021.
