Charlie Curnow

First AFL appearance in two years
FCarlton Blues
July 30, 2021
Curnow collected eight disposals, two tackles and a goal Friday as Carlton defeated St. Kilda 112-81 at Marvel Stadium.
ANALYSIS
29 minutes elapsed in the opening term of Friday's game before Curnow took a touch he grabbed from the outside 50 - his first in over two years - and sent it sailing for a long goal, one of ten Carlton put up in the first half alone. The oft-injured 24 year-old admittedly had a quiet night otherwise, but showed that a Blues front line that includes Harry McKay and Jack Silvagni holds plenty of promise heading into next season.

Knee
March 2, 2021
Curnow (knee) is still viewed as a long-term prospect to retake the field, the AFL's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Curnow sat out all of 2020 because of the knee injury and apparently requires some more time to get back to his normal self. It's unclear exactly when he will be cleared to retake the field at this time.
Expected to miss all of 2020
FCarlton Blues
Knee
May 30, 2020
Curnow isn't expected to play at all in 2020 due to a knee injury, Ronny Lerner of The Age reports.
ANALYSIS
Curnow underwent surgery in March to remove screws in his right kneecap, resulting in his loss for all of 2020. His absence leaves a significant hole in the midfield for Carlton, but the 23-year-old will presumably focus his rehab efforts toward being ready for the start of the 2021 campaign.
