Gunston (back) will miss the remainder of the 2021 season.
ANALYSIS
Gunston appeared in just one game for the Hawks in Round 7 but has dealt with a back injury for most of the campaign. Unfortunately, it appears that is the only time he will don the Hawthorn jumper this season and he will instead focus on getting healthy ahead of 2022.

Gunston (back) will be a late assessment for his availability in Round 9 against North Melbourne, according to Physical Performance Manager Luke Boyd. "We're going to investigate a bit further over the next 24 hours as to why that might have occurred, but we'll just see how he settles down across the course of the week and make an assessment as to whether he's going to be available to play this weekend."
ANALYSIS
Gunston has only played during a brief appearance in Round 8 this season and will need to full regain his fitness to prove his fantasy ability. Last season, he was much more impressive with 31 goals and 68 marks in 16 matches.
