Nearing return
DHawthorn Hawks
Ankle
June 8, 2021
Day (broken ankle) is expected to return in Round 13 or 14, according to Physical Performance Manager Luke Boyd. "He got through this morning's session quite well and we expect Will to be available to play this week (against Sydney)."
ANALYSIS
Day has been out since Round 2 and his return is reportedly imminent. A strong performance with 28 disposals and 11 marks in Round 1 means that Day could easily give the Hawks another quality fantasy option when they tend not to put up big numbers.

Lower Leg
March 27, 2021
Day won't return to Sunday's match against Richmond due to a lower leg injury, Mitch Cleary of the AFL's official site reports.

28 Disposals, Eight Marks in Win
DHawthorn Hawks
March 21, 2021
Day produced 28 disposals, eight marks and three tackles and clearances each Saturday as Hawthorn narrowly defeated Essendon 92-91 at Marvel Stadium.
ANALYSIS
Day tied Essendon's Andrew McGrath for second-most kicks (18) and paced all players in marks in Saturday night's contest, leaving him one of only two Hawks to top 100 fantasy points in the Round One victory. An exceptional find at defender, fantasy owners would be wise to invest in the 19-year-old early on in 2021, as Day appears on track to only improve upon a rookie campaign that saw him second among rising stars in effective disposals and kicks per game and third overall in fantasy points scored.
