Lands with Jayhawks
Griffen announced Friday morning that he is transferring to play at Kansas, Jeff Borzello of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The Jayhawks have made another splash in the portal with the commitment of Griffen after landing AJ Storr just over a week ago. This also follows the commitments of Zeke Mayo and Riley Kugel during this transfer cycle, as Griffen becomes the fourth guard to commit to coach Bill Self. The Jayhawks were one of the worst 3-point shooting teams in the Big 12 this past season and have addressed that need completely. Griffen shot 39.2 from three with Alabama in 2023-24 while averaging 11.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists per contest.
