Arrow McLaren announced it has released driver Malukas (wrist) from his 2024 NTT IndyCar Series contract.
ANALYSIS
In an unfortunate turn of events, Malukas has been cut by Arrow McLaren. The young driver was injured in a pre-season mountain biking accident and had to undergo surgery on a dislocated wrist. His timeline for return has moved well on past early projections and the team has decided to part ways with him. They have tabbed Callum Ilott and and Theo Pourchaire to fill-in so far in 2024 and have not yet named their driver lineup for the rest of the season in the No. 6 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet.
