2024 Fantasy Outlook
Patrick last played in 2021. He was entering 2022 off a pair of similar seasons in which he averaged 52 catches, 738 yards, 5.5 touchdowns and 82 targets. At that point, Patrick had been in the league for four years. The receiver appeared to be a player on the rise. Then, bad luck struck. During the 2022 preseason, Patrick suffered a season-ending knee injury. As he looked to return the following year, Patrick tore his Achilles in August of 2023. Coming off a pair of lost seasons, it’s difficult to know what ability level the 30 year old will be playing. If Patrick could win a starting role and play at his 2020-2021 level, he could be a value in fantasy drafts. On field for OTAs
Patrick (Achilles) is participating in Thursday's OTAs session, Nick Kosmider of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Patrick continues to work his way back from the left Achilles tear that cost him the entire 2023 season. As an ACL tear also wiped out his 2022 campaign, the 30-year-old wideout now hasn't suited up for an NFL game since 2021, and he likely would've been cut this offseason had he not agreed to a pay cut. Health permitting, there's opportunity for Patrick to carve out a role in Denver's wide receiver corps, which gets thin behind Courtland Sutton. The other top candidates to start in three-wide sets are Josh Reynolds, Marvin Mims and Troy Franklin.

Oregon WR Troy Franklin can't be happy about falling to Day 3, but things could still work out for him in Denver, where he'll catch passes from college teammate Bo Nix.
Tyler Lockett is one of the many big-name WRs with no guaranteed money remaining on a sizable contract, potentially setting up a trade or release in the next few weeks.
Puka Nacua was the leader of a 2023 rookie class that outperformed expectations, setting the table for a 2024 class that comes with far more hype thanks to mega prospects Marvin Harrison and Malik Nabers.

Stepping up as leader in OTAs
Head coach Sean Payton praised Patrick after Thursday's OTA, noting that the wideout is "one of the leaders" of the Broncos offense, Nick Kosmider of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Patrick was the most tenured Broncos receiver Thursday with Courtland Sutton absent. Kosmider notes that Patrick seemed to have relished the opportunity to serve as the veteran receiver, leading the wideouts in individual drills and making impressive catches during team drills. He's missed the last two seasons with an ACL tear and torn left Achilles in 2022 and 2023, respectively. He'll look to carve out a role in the passing game alongside Sutton, Josh Reynolds, Marvin Mims and 2024 fourth-round pick Troy Franklin this season.
